APW - Ball Illinois, Official Standard, Grade 810, 23J, 16S, white gold-filled OF Ball Official RR Standard stirrup bow original case with attractive pattern back engraving to rear, white enamel SS dial, distinctive skeletonized Ball Illinois style hands, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, bull's-eye pattern nickel damascene, s#B800784. An excellent example of this high grade railroad watch, based on known examples it is believed that total production of the Ball Illinois Grade 810 is 3200 made.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, hub of larger winding wheel has been polished, micro-fine scratches to larger winding wheel; dial with hl between 3 and 4; excellent hands; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, excellent overall engraving detail with some loss of fine detail to rear shoulder; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
